I conclude on this note. You and I have all right to take responsibility for our health. Our Doctors can give us advice, but we have to do the actions. As our age progress we have to identify changes in our feeling.

And work with our Doctors to remedy the uninvited enemy, by eating the right foods that can do the job for us. Take this home with you, tell me how it works next time we meet. I am Dorcas. I want to hear from you. Please leave me a comment in the comment section below. Remember to share.

  1. Hello Dorcas – It’s been a pleasure reading your post.  I’m a bit of a health enthusiast myself and it’s good to know that I am not alone in the world.  My niche is health products.

I agree with you 200% when you say that we need to take responsibility for our health.

I promote prevention over cure all the time.  The diet is very important.  You are what you eat!  I enjoy vegetables but I hardly think about asparagus.  Thanks for the reminder!  I like broccoli, spinach, cabbage, collards, turnips and sometimes kale greens.  I’m starting to cut back on carbs.

    Thanks for the opportunity!

    • Hey Nathaniel; thanks for your comment. I also love to know that I am not alone. I cannot get it out of my mind, the number of dismemberment folks I saw waiting for dressing all of them was a result of their diet when I was assigned to the clinic in my area for dressing to injury in my face due to an accident I had in my front yard one night.

The hundreds of people going three times per week for dressing It makes my body crawls even now that I remember. This is one of the reasons that push me to start work in this niche.

I think it is easier to eat right, than to go without a hand or a foot as well as both. thanks again

  2. It’s good to be reminded that the solutions we’re looking for, the solutions for our health problems, can be found in nature. We used to eat Asparagus as part of our dishes but never thought that it could actually help us get rid of health problems like heart disease. But I wonder, are the processed Asparagus or Brocolli that have been featured here as good as those we pick in the wilds?

    • Hey Gomer; thanks for your comment. I am not certain whether Broccoli and Asparagus grow in the wild. Where I am from they are cultivated.

Some farmers cultivate on the open land which is better, while some cultivate in Greenhouses. On all accounts, the fresh green is more beneficial than the supplement. However. for accessibility reasons, it might be easier to use the supplements.
